ADU-892 Test Set modification
The purpose of this presolicitation notice amendment is to update the Classification Code to 14 - Guided Missiles, and to update the NAICS Code to 336419 - Other Guided Missile and Space Vehicle Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing.
DESCRIPTION: The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a sole source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Delivery Order to Lockheed Martin Missile and Fire Control (LMMFC) Archbald, PA, for an Engineering Change development and production for the ADU-892 test set. It is anticipated the resultant order will be cost plus fixed fee and firm fixed price and will include priced option(s) for future retrofit. The work to be performed under this effort consists of engineering change documentation preparation, list of components, production, testing and prototyping to execute the aforementioned tasks. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. LMMFC is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer for the ADU-892 and as such is the only company that has the requisiste knowledge, technical expertise, production tooling facilities and technical data necessary to meet this requirement.
This notice is published for information purposes only and is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible interested parties may submit a capability statement in which they identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider all information received by 27 July 2018. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
