ADA Accessible Vault Toilets

Product Description: New ADA Accessible Vault Toilet
- 1 plastic toilet riser
- 1 galvanized steel door Color chosen by USACE, please provide brown color pallet. Hardware shall consist of rust resistant hinges, automatic closing mechanism, lever handle lockset and dead bolt lock
- 1 lockable stainless steel toilet paper dispensers with a minimum two roll capacity
- Stainless steel grab bars for each stall - ADA compliant
- Minimum 1 window or skylight with translucent glazing material.
- 1 unisex vault toilet sign with identifying signage
- Minimum 800 gallon or 3ft deep vault. Vault shall be constructed in a manner that during a high water event the empty vault will not float.
- Precast water tight, lined concrete vault with permanent lid and lockable vault cleanouts. Building must be able to be removed and vault sealed (sealed cover supplied by contractor) in order to accommodate being inundated during high water.
- Maximum building weight cannot exceed 10,000 lbs.
- 1 HDPE vent pipe with vent screen to prevent wildlife entry.
- Minimum of 3" thick walls
- Minimum of 4" thick floor
- One set of building lifts
- Roof - metal roofing with matching trim. Minimum snow load factor of 30lbs per square. Color chosen by USACE, please provide green color pallet.
- Exterior - Hardi Plank 6" lap siding. Lap style USACE will paint after delivered.
- Interior - vandal resistant seamless sanitary wall system that will not mildew, rot or rust.
- Vault toilet shall have full DC electric with battery backup and solar panels. Electrical package shall have a minimum of one interior LED light and a minimum of one exterior LED light on the front of the building. Interior lighting will be motion eye controlled and exterior lighting will be photo eye controlled. (USACE will run power to the building)).
Warranty Requirement
- Minimum 1 year manufacturer warranty.
Energy Efficient Program


- The building shall have solar powered capabilities to qualify as energy efficient.


Delivery:
Precast Vault Toilet shall be delivered by May 31, 2017 to Saylorville Lake Project, 5600 NW 78th Avenue, Johnston, IA 50131. The actual site locations where the Precast Vault Toilet will be placed do not have physical addresses but are all within a 10 mile radius of 5600 NW 78th Avenue, Johnston, IA 50131 (see attached maps).
Delivery shall be coordinated with USACE 2 weeks prior to delivery. Delivery shall be to the owner supplied hole at specified locations at Cherry Glen Recreational Area, Lakeview Recreational Area and Sandpiper Recreational Area. (See attachment maps) Government will prepare each site for delivery including excavating the hole and providing and installing bedding material for the vault toilet and arrange a crane for off-loading and setting the structure on each site.
