Solicitation Number: SPRRA2-18-R-0138 - SYNOPSIS

PRON: D18H0142D1. The Government proposes to acquire on a One Time Buy (OTB), FIRM FIXED PRICE (FFP) contract a quantity of 35 each, for a ACTUATOR,ELECTRO-ME; NSN: 1440-01-277-1226; PN: 11450145-19 applicable to the M-D6 Patriot Weapon system.


Production Lead Time, with First Article Testing (FAT), is 567 days After Contract Award (DACA), with deliveries to REDSTONE ARSENAL, AL 35898-8052.


This item is LIMITED to INTRACOM S.A. DEFENSE ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS, CAGE code: G1311 and RAYTHEON, CAGE code: 05716. This part requires restricted engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s).


Manufacture of this part requires special test and/or inspection facilities to determine and maintain ultraprecision quality for its function or system integrity. Substantiation and inspection of the precision or quality cannot be accomplished without such specialized test or inspection facilities. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casl_cmo_home and looking under Source Approval Authority (SAR), Missile SAR Submittal Instructions, Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
