ACRHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES
The City of Memphis is requesting proposals, from qualified firms, describing
the experience, education and credentials of their firm for providing the needed design
and construction administration services.
This project includes the design and renovation of existing buildings that
will house the departments of Fire & Police Dispatch, Information Systems, and other
miscellaneous departments. The City of Memphis is looking at purchasing a complex
with several buildings. Due to ongoing real estate negotiations, the city will not disclose
the location of the complex. The existing building complex is three buildings,
approximately 320,000 SF total. The main building is multiple stories approximately
270,000 SF. The renovations should be attractive, functional, efficient and cost effective.
The design will phased over three budget years. The intent is to award the first phase
and to add phases by contract amendment.
