The Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs (WASPC) issues this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified, independent vendors to assist WASPC in developing and implementing a Critical Incident Planning and Mapping System (CIPMS). The system will be used to map all of Washingtons state and local facilities and include the ability to add mapped non-governmental facilities to the system. This RFP is in response to the requirements stated in Engrossed Substitute House Bill 1218 (ESHB 1218), passed by the 58th Washington State Legislature, 2003 Regular Session [Chapter 102, Laws of 2003] and codified in RCW 36.28A.060 & 070. The selected vendor must be available to begin performance of any contract executed as a result of this RFP on or about September 1, 2005.
