The University plans to replace an existing 5,345 GSF building with an environmentally sensitive, energy efficient and sustainable designed Rustic Contemporary Lodge with shed or gable roof, clerestory, exposed wood beams, large stone fireplace, oriented towards the sunlight and for views. The building is located on a 15 acre site which also features a large pool, picnic grounds, sand volleyball court, tennis courts and Challenge Program ropes course. The rustic lodge building currently provides space required for meeting or approved university-related social events.
