A/EPROFESSIONAL SERVICES - ELECTRICAL EXPERTISE
Pursuant to its obligations to the United States GOvernment (represented by the Department of Energy under Prime Contract No. DE-AC02-76CH11359), Fermi Research Alliance LLC (Herein after referred to as FRA) requests your written proposal for Architect/Engineering Firms' with Electrical Expertise in accordance with all attachments and exhibits listed herein.
The scope of work will include professional architectural and engineering services to support the Fermilab mission.
The Architect/Engineer Subcontractor with Electrical Expertise will have a wide range of experience in the area of design and construction for industrial facilities. This Subcontractor will have in-house capability of the electrical engineering disciplines required to provide general support with minimal use of sub-tier consultants. In addition, this firm should have the ability to assemble and manage an effective project team through the use of both in-house and consultant disciplines. The Subcontractor with Electrical Expertise will be required to have demonstrated experience in the following areas: Computer Modeling using ETAP computer software for Low, Medium and High Voltage system; Design of Low, Medium and High Voltage systems; Design of overcurrent device coordination; Design of High and Medium Voltage protection systems; Substation design; Design of High and Medium Voltage distribution system; Design of Low Voltage distribution systems; Interior and Exterior lighting design; Design of data center electrical distribution systems; Design of uninterruptible power supply systems; Design of generator backed systems; Design of lighting protection systems; and Design of electrical grounding systems.
