The purpose of this modification is to remove Part 5. Mileage Restriction from the Pre-Sol Notice and implement a new Part 5. Response Time requirement instead. The below paragraph 5 replaces the original paragraph 5 in its entirety;

5. RESPONSE TIMEB
The successful A-E shall abide by a four (4) hour response time for Lexington VAMC, Cooper Division, during the design phase and the construction period services (CPS) phase, as appropriate. The VA has no preference on the method utilized by contractors on achieving the four (4) hour response time. The response time will be determined from the moment the request to the A-E to be on site is submitted. The individual or individuals responding can be either the prime contractor or a subcontractor that s part of the design team. B
All other terms and conditions of Pre-Sol Notice remain unchanged.
