87' Propulsion Shaft Manufacture and Repair
The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center has a requirement for the manufacture and repair
of propulsion shafts for the USCG 87' WPB class cutter (NSN: 2010-01-485-91175). The Contractor shall furnish
all necessary labor, material, services, equipment, supplies, power, accessories, facilities and such other things as
are necessary, except as otherwise specified in the solicitation, to (1) manufacture and (2) repair propulsion
shafts, in accordance with the solicitation and attached specifications. All shafts will be manufactured or repaired
in accordance with the specification entitled: USCG WPB-87 Specification Propulsion Shaft Purchase & Repair, P-
243-00618 (05/2011), Revision A (8/6/2014). All manufacturing and testing will take place at the contractor's
facility.
This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business.
