The Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center has a requirement to upgrade various motor control centers (MCCs). Contractor shall provide for and furnish all labor, materials, equipment, qualified supervision, and other items designated in this contract in accordance with the specifications and drawings to complete Project # 695-18-120: Upgrade Various Motor Control Centers (MCCs) at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, 5000 West National Avenue Milwaukee, WI. The project includes replacing ten Motor Control Centers (MCCs), five Automatic Transfer Switches (ATSs), as well as a Manual Transfer Switch (MTS). Additional work includes two (2) new MTSs, demo and replacement of associated feeders & conduit, controls, starters, breakers, sub-panels, transformers, MOVs and switches.
The project magnitude price range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a size standard of $15.0 Million.
The project is scheduled to have a period of performance of six hundred thirty-five (635) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer.
The solicitation (including any/all specifications and drawings) is scheduled be posted to FedBizOpps (https://www.fbo.gov/) on or about July 10, 2019. The bid opening is approximately scheduled for August 13, 2019. A pre-bid conference/site walk-through will be conducted for this project and the time and date will be announced in the solicitation. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
This solicitation will be issued as a Small Business set-aside pursuit to FAR 52.219-6.
