DLA MARITIME PUGET SOUND intends to procure various compressed and liquefied gases, cylinder gases, bulk tank gases, cylinder/tank rentals, and services, which include, but are not limited to: Acetylene, Argon, Nitrogen, Calibration Gas, Helium, Oxygen Technical, Propane, Propylene, liquid Argon, Liquid Nitrogen. Cylinder/Tank rentals include gaseous cylinders, 160 liter Dewar tank, 1500 micro bulk tank, 2000 liter tank, and 450 liter tank. Services include Technician Call Out Services, emergency delivery, tank delivery and installation, and delivery charge. This will be awarded as an Indefinitely Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for a base and four (4) option periods, in support of the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS and IMF) detachment at Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, CA and the Submarine Base Point Loma, San Diego.
This requirement will be solicited as a commercial item Request for Quote in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5. This will be solicited 100% Small Business Set-aside. The non-manufacturer waiver rule applies so a small business concern can provide the product of a large business concern. The applicable NAICS Code is 325120. The resultant award will be a firm fixed-price supply type contract with deliveries to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard detachment San Diego, CA. This requirement will utilize Low Price Technically Acceptable Offer (LPTA) in determining a successful quote. Offerors wishing to submit a quote are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ and for frequently monitoring the site for any amendments.
The solicitation number for this requirement is SPMYM218Q0202. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available for download on or around 11 Dec 2017. The closing date of the solicitation will be on or around 05 Jan 2018 at 2:00PM Pacific Local Time, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. The RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link at https://www.neco.navv.mil and will also be available for download at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. A one-day site-visit may be considered if several interested vendors request it upon immediately receipt of the solicitation in order to make arrangements; however, there is a limited timeframe for quote submission so if not enough interested is provided early, no site-visit will be considered.
