Project: 676-18-102 Correct SPS Directive

Location: Tomah VA Medical Center

This construction project involves minor demolition, renovation and interior build-out in an existing building. Contractor shall provide all labor material and equipment for the required demolition & construction on the 2nd and 3rd floors of building 400 at the Tomah VAMC per plans and specifications. Work includes, but is not limited to phased demolition, installation of electric strikes, automatic door operators, and proximity card readers, electrical lighting installation; minor plumbing and mechanical work. Estimated period of performance shall begin in October 2018 and be completed no later than late September, 2019.
The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction; size standard $36.5 Million applies. Estimated price range for construction is between $250,000 and $500,000.
Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the contracting officer that it is a

(1) SDVOSB or VOSB eligible under VAAR Subpart 819.70; https://www.va.gov/oal/library/vaar/vaar819.asp#8197001
(2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and
(3) SDVOSB/VOSB listed as verified in VIP database at:B https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov. B B

The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on www.FedBizOpps.gov (FB0) on, or about August 14th, 2018. A pre-bid site conference and a site walk-through for this solicitation is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, August 22nd, 2018 (time and location TBD). Additional details shall be included full solicitation package. All interested offerors, subcontractors and suppliers are strongly encouraged to attend.
