NCO 16, Division II Supply Team, Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, Shreveport, LA is seeking to award an Open Market Purchase Order IAW FAR 13.106 for the Purchase of 100 Human Scale brand F111 Task Chairs. This procurement is conducted under NAICS 337214, Office Furniture (except Wood) Manufacturing.
This is a Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. In order to qualify for this set-aside, firms must have active SDVOSB registration in the Vendor Information Pages at https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/ .
In order to qualify for award, firms must be the OEM of the item quoted or provide in writing from the OEM authorization to distribute the OEM s equipment.
This is a Brand Name Only procurement. See attached Single Source Justification.
Statement of Work:
Background: Ergonomic Chairs are needed to replace chairs on the campus that are old and in disrepair and to be place throughout the facility and CBOC campus for RA (Reasonable Accommodations) & Ergonomic Assessments.
Scope: The chairs are to assist in aiding the employee that sits at a desk for long intervals with an ergonomic chair in clinical and office settings. These requirements and needs were determined by the IH (Industrial Hygienist) and the EEO Officer that has determined an RA is required. This chair meets and exceeds those special needs of the employees.
