Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Announcement
NCO 16 Division II Supply Team Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport, LA is seeking to award an Open Market Purchase Order IAW FAR Subpart 13.5 for Replacement of the Overhead Paging System on the campus Overton Brooks VA Medical Center. This procurement is conducted under NAICS 334210 Telephone Apparatus Manufacturing.

This is a Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. In order to qualify for this set-aside, firms must be registered in the Vendor Information Pages at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ .
The technically acceptable quote with the lowest price will obtain the award.

Statement of Work (SOW) for Emergency Replacement of Overhead Paging System for Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, Shreveport LA

Contractor shall provide a replacement overhead paging system to include speakers with built-in amplifiers, all cabling, hardware and installation for a fully functional overhead paging system per the terms of this SOW. The paging system will cover all wings, basement through floor 10 of the main facility, building 1, and buildings 2, 3, 4, 16, 33, and 55.

- Overhead paging system will include 550 speakers with built-in amplifiers.
- All cabling for overhead paging system will be plenum rated.
- Hardware for overhead paging system will reside in the E97 engineering space on each floor or comparable space.
- Overhead paging system will interface to existing phone switch in 1N2.
- Overhead paging system will be configured for paging to all zones of building 1 and outer buildings simultaneously, and for zone paging to individual wings of each floor of building 1 (north, west, east, south), and individual paging to floors 1 & 2 of building 55, and buildings 2, 3, 4, 16 and 33.
- Contractor will remove and dispose of all existing speakers, hardware and wiring of existing overhead paging system (to include wiring and hardware in 1N2).
- Contractor will adhere to all applicable facility guidelines for infection prevention IAW the Infection Control Risk Assessment, conducted prior to the start of work.
- Contractor will seal all cable-run penetrations with approved fireproof sealant in accordance with NFPA 101, Chapter 8 and the VA Master Guide, Specification 07 84 00. The contractor will submit the specification sheet on the fire stopping material for engineering approval, prior to starting work.
- Contractor will provide five-year warranty of the overhead paging system, including all parts and labor.
- Due to the overhead paging system s criticality in communicating code blue and rapid response emergency notifications to clinical staff, a two-hour service response telephonically, and on-site service response within 48 hours will be required.
- Contractor will provide consultation services to Overton Brooks VAMC for the life of the system concerning overhead paging system expansion planning for renovations and new construction requiring overhead paging system coverage.

A Site Visit is Scheduled for 15 August at 1PM Central Time on the Overton Brooks Campus in the Engineering Service Building 4 Conference Room. All interested vendors are required to send a representative before preparing their quotes. The address is:
