The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office 19 (NCO 19) has a requirement to renovate existing Building 86 and add a new addition to the same building at the VA Medical Center located in Sheridan WY as per drawings and specifications. NCO 19 is conducting market research to determine if sufficient competition exists in the Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) socio-economic programs. The SDVOSB firms must have the capability and capacity to perform work with a construction magnitude between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
The NAICS code for this procurement will be 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The project scope includes general construction for demolition, renovation and new work, alterations, site work, mechanical, electrical, general carpentry, plumbing, civil etc. The current small business size standard for 236220 is $36.5 million.

Important Notice: This is not a Request For Proposal. The Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. If a Request For Proposal is issued in the future, please note all SDVOSBs must be listed in the VIP database, available at http://www.VetBiz.gov. Additionally, firms must apply for and receive verification from the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 by submission of documentation of Veteran status, ownership and control sufficient to establish appropriate status. Offerors must be both VISIBLE and VERIFIED by the Department of Veteran Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprises at the time of submission of proposal. Failure to be both VERIFIED by CVE and VISIBLE on VetBiz at the time of proposal submission will result in the offerors proposal being deemed non-compliant. Lastly, prospective offerors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract or agreement.
