**ALL FIRMS ARE INSTRUCTED NOT TO CALL THE INDIVIDUAL VA MEDICAL CENTERS REQUESTING MORE INFORMATION. **

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT: 644-CSI-103, Renovate Cardiac Catheterization Lab # 1 bldg. 1, 4th floor at VA Medical Center, San Diego, CA. The requirement is to renovate the Cardiac Catherization Lab 1 for new equipment installation. The intent of the procurement is to award a firm-fixed price construction contract. The Statement of Work (SOW) defines the effort required for the completion of work. The Government will not reimburse the firm for their proposal preparation cost. Interested parties are urged and expected to attend the site visit; date, time and location of site visit still to be determined. Information regarding the site visit will be indicated in the solicitation when posted. Due to anticipated response and limited space, please limit the number of attendees in your group. Contractors shall contact Lissette Fernandez, Contract Specialist, to indicate their interest in attending the Site Visit. Requests, in the form of an e-mail message to Lissette.Fernandez@va.gov, must be received by the Contract Specialist 5 days prior to the scheduled site visit.

Statement of Work, Specifications, and Drawings will be issued as attachments to the solicitation.
The San Diego VA Medical center requires services to include but not limited to all tools, labor, materials, and supervision necessary to construct all applicable demolition, asbestos abatement, lead abatement, walls, partitions, interior finishes, and other services necessary for this project.
This notice is issued by NCO-22 Gilbert, Located in Phoenix Arizona. However, work be performed at the following VA facility:

This construction project will be solicited as a Total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS code) for this procurement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. Small Business concerns for this NAICS code have a size standard of $36.5M. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed construction contract. The period of performance of the contract is intended to be 180 calendar days after Notice to Proceed, with no options included.
The anticipated Range of Magnitude for this project, in accordance with VAAR 836.204(f) is projected to be:
Between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000.
It is anticipated that a Solicitation will be issued in July 2019.
It is strongly recommended that interested parties register in the US Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Biz database and the Small Business Administration (SBA) database. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ and www.sba.gov/, respectively.
The Government will not pay any costs for responses submitted.
