Provide services to include all tools, labor, materials, and supervision necessary to construct all applicable demolition, asbestos abatement, lead abatement, walls, partitions, interior finishes, fire protection system modifications, fire alarm system modifications, security system modifications, controls, Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical work and other services necessary for:
Project 664-14-109D, Fifth Floor, East Wing (5E), Pod D. Remodel to provide for the conversion of the existing areas and spaces into single patient rooms in Building #1, at VA Medical Center, San Diego, CA. All third-party testing, inspection and certification required to provide a complete project will be borne by the VA. Costs for these services shall NOT be included in the fee proposal.
The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220. This is 100% set aside for Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The estimated construction cost is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 The estimated completion period for this work is 270 calendar days after the notice to proceed.
The specifications and drawings will be uploaded as part of the solicitation and tentative issue date actual solicitation is 15 business days from this posting. A date and time for a site visit will be stated in the solicitation. Award will be made utilizing the sealed bidding source selection process in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 14. Proposal submission instructions will be included in the solicitation package. The offeror is responsible for monitoring and downloading any amendments from the Federal Business Opportunities (http://www.fbo.gov) website that may be issued to this solicitation.
All offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (http://www.sam.gov) and VetBiz (http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov) under the applicable NAICS code, as well as VETS 4212 (http://www.dol.gov/vets/vets4212.html).
