The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), W. G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 1601 Brenner Avenue in Salisbury, North Carolina will be soliciting offers for a service agreement on Sterilizing Units. The contractor shall provide all labor, time, materials, and equipment for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of sterilization units. A Request for Quote (RFQ) 36C246-18-Q-0474_1 will be issued on or about March 8, 2018. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The base period of performance is March 17, 2018 through March 16, 2019, with two (2) one (1) year option periods that can be exercised by the Government. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 811219, Medical and surgical equipment repair and maintenance services with a Small Business Size Standard of $20.5 million. The classification code is J065. The solicitation will be issued as an Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
