The Department of Veterans' Affairs is seeking the services of a qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business construction company to provide all labor, material, transportation, equipment and qualified supervision required for the Construct Cancer Center project #652-318 located at the H.H. McGuire VA Medical Center, 1201 East Broad Rock Boulevard, Richmond, Virginia, 23249.
In general, the project is a two story addition to the existing medical center building of approximately 15,000 square feet. The work shall be performed in strict accordance with construction drawings and specifications prepared by Miller-Remick, LLC, and completed within 630 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. This includes final Inspection and cleanup.
The NAICS code for this project is 236220 with a small business size standard of $36.5 million. The estimated construction cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The drawings and specifications will be uploaded as part of the solicitation on or about 08/15/2019. A date and time for a pre-proposal conference / site visit will be stated in the solicitation.
