PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR: Project 585-16-105: Repair CLC Courtyard Construction at Oscar G Johnson VA Medical Center, 325 East H Street, Iron Mountain, MI 49801. This solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small Business (SDVOSBs).
Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor, materials, work equipment, and qualified supervision for the Repair CLC Courtyard project; VA project number 585-16-105. This project includes replacement of existing concrete and pavers with a new smooth, level surface that is safe & suitable for patients to utilize, in addition to a heated concrete slab, drainage, landscaping, electrical lighting, mechanical as required by drawings and specifications. Time for completion is 60 calendar days after Notice to Proceed.

The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on FedBizOpps.gov. There will be a pre-bid site visit held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid site conference will be included in the solicitation package.

The solicitation for this project will be issued on/or about January 27th, 2016, with the bid opening on/about February 28th, 2017. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOpps.gov which may be issued to this solicitation.

The project magnitude range is between $250,000 and $500,000.
The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220; size standard $36.5 Million applies.
In accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006, Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms. The SDVOSB must be registered with and verified by the Center for Verification and Evaluation http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, (CVE) prior to submission of an offer, and verified in the following websites: https://www.sam.gov to be eligible for award.
