Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Announcement
NCO 16 Division II Supply Team Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport, LA is seeking to award an Open Market Purchase Order IAW FAR Subpart 13.106 for Purchase of 2ea Intellivue 450MX Patient Monitors to be used in the Radiology Dept at the Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks in Fayetteville, AR. This procurement is conducted under NAICS 339113 Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing.

This is a Total Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) Set-Aside. In order to qualify for this set-aside, firms must be registered in the Vendor Information Pages at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ .
This is a Brand Name or Equal Procurement. Equal items may be offered if enough information is provided to show they offer the features of the requested product.

For informational and placeholder purposes, the current item in the local supply system is the Invivo Expression IP5 MRI Monitor with the following components:

These monitors will be used in Radiology during interventional procedures requiring additional monitoring capabilities, the CO2 monitoring option would enable the IR department to safely manage any kind of pain medication and/or sedation.
The monitors will also be used in the nursing recovery area to monitor patients post procedure prior to admission or discharge.

The interventional radiology nurses will be putting these monitors to use along with any nurses in the area from other departments as needed.
The monitor is indicated for use by health care professionals whenever there is a need for monitoring the physiological parameters of patients. The monitor is intended to be used for monitoring and recording of, and to generate alarms for, multiple physiological parameters of adults, pediatrics, and neonates. The monitor is intended for use by trained healthcare professionals in a hospital environment. The monitor is additionally intended for use in transport situations within hospital environments. The monitor is only for use on one patient at a time. It is not intended for home use. Not a therapeutic device. The monitor is for prescription use only.

Guardian EWS provides two basic types of scoring:
Single Parameter Scoring (SPS)
Modified Early Warning Scoring (MEWS)
The technically acceptable quote with the lowest price will obtain the award.
