This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 334118 (Computer Terminal and Other Computer Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing) and whether or not these items requested are offered on a Federal Supply Schedule.
The Department of Veteran s Affairs is seeking sources to provide a Thermal Dual Head Printer.
The vendor shall be able to provide a brand name (FreshDate Direct Thermal Dual Head) or equal offering the following salient characteristics:
Must be a stand-alone labeling system that produces self-adhesive labels in various formats.
Must be capable of functioning without being directly connected to a PC, providing added network security.
Must be capable of pre-loading an information database for stand-alone use.
Must have integrated touchscreen.
LED Backlight for improved visibility.
Power supply: 100-240V AC
Thermal direct printing.
Utility software must come included with device.
Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing this product. Please include your business size with your submittal and whether or not this product is offered via Open Market or via FSS.
This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender.
The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 334118 and the small business size standard is 1000 Employees. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to Omar.Cante@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 3:00 pm Central Daylight Time on March 31, 2017.
