55 CES New Dorm Furnishings
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F3H3G29030AW01-New_Dorm_Furnishings is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-01 (effective 20 December 2018). This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2 (a). The NAICS code is 337127 and the small business size standard is 500 EMP. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation;
CLIN 0001 - 55 CES New Dorm Furnishings
Furnishings will be the initial issue and utilized in the Bldg. 369. Contractor shall provide the following for the
Sleeping Spaces: one hundred and twenty (120) twin XL beds and included one hundred and twenty (120) headboard and footboard sets with platform; one hundred and twenty (120) 5 or 6 drawer Dressers, chests; one hundred and twenty (120) Nightstands; one hundred and twenty (120) Computer Desk with pencil drawer; one hundred and twenty (120) Lamps; one hundred and twenty (120) LED Bulbs; Sixty-five (65) Mattresses, XL.
Kitchen areas: thirty (30) Refrigerator/Freezers w/ necessary hook-up cords; thirty (30) Countertop Microwaves; thirty (30) 24" Stoves with 4 burners w/ necessary hook-up cords; thirty (30) Kitchen tables; one hundred and twenty (120) Kitchen Chairs.
Common area pods: thirty (30) Couches for pod common areas; sixty (60) Lounge Chairs for pod common areas; thirty (30) Coffee Tables for pod common areas; thirty (30) Media Chest for pod common areas; thirty (30) 50" TVs for pod common areas; thirty (30) TV mounts for pod common areas.

STATEMENT OF NEED
55 CES/New dorm furnishings
1. This requirement is to provide new furnishings to 55th Civil Engineering Squadron. Furnishings will be the initial issue and utilized in the Bldg. 369. 3. Delivery, installation and disposal services are requested for the building. The building consist of 30 pods/suites and has three floors. There are multiple stairwells to allow installation. All rooms are vacant.
a. Contractor is fully liable for any damages that occur to the facility and surrounding grounds during the delivery, installation and disposal services. Any damages will be recorded and reported.
b. During the moving in, assembly, placement of items and removal of shipping materials, be careful attention must be shown not to destroy or damage the items, its components of or lose smaller parts and hardware required for reassembly.
