The Dorn VA Medical Center, (DVAMC) located in Columbia, South Carolina intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Sandhill Scientific, 9150 Commerce Center Cr. Suite 500, 800-468-4556, Attn: Patti Leaf on a contract for FibroScan 502 Touch w/M+XL+ Probes; associated service agreement and printer for the Dorn VA HepC clinic in the ID department; equipment is needed to scan liver images for diagnosis. The government plans to solicit and make an award for this requirement to only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 41 U.S.C. 253 (1). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. No Solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Office within 3 calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis.
