This is a Request for Information. Accordingly the Governments intent is to conduct market research and provide notice to industry of its intent to solicit for certain services. Any information submitted by and obtained from industry as a result of this notice may be used in the development of the final acquisition strategy (e.g., set-aside, sole source, full and open competition, etc.) and may affect:
Feasibility of the requirement
Appropriateness of the NAICS Code
Approach to Implementation
Performance Work Statements or specifications
Any other industry concerns or questions

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Alexandria VA HealthCare System, Pineville, LA has a requirement for an OCT Optometry Screening System. The SOW containing specifications is attached. Brand Names may be used for descriptive purposes or as placeholders, but this is NOT a Brand Name Only procurement, and any equal item will be considered if sufficient descriptive data is provided for comparison purposes.
Vendors who are capable of fulfilling this requirement and certified as SDVOSB in the Vendor Information Pages at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/ are requested to submit a capability statement. Include firm s name (including any dba designation), DUNS, and FSS Contract Number; as well as a personal contact name, phone number, email address.
Set-Asides At this time the government is requesting information in order to provide a final determination related to set aside. Upon review of the market research and coordination of appropriate parties a determination will be made.
