The City of Huntington Beach is requesting proposals to produce the 2009, 4th of July Fireworks Show. The 4th of July celebration is an annual tradition in the Huntington Beach community that will be celebrating its 105th year in 2009. The days events include a parade, 5K run, pancake breakfast, afternoon entertainment at the Pier and an evening program culminating with fireworks. Fireworks are launched from the end of the Pier over the ocean.
