The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri, intends to issue solicitation RFQP04141700022 for the requirement of Milk and Dairy Products. Estimated quantities are 162,500 each of Milk, Skim, ½ pint and 559 containers (CO) of Cottage Cheese, Low Fat, 5# CO. The performance period will begin July 7th, 2017, and will conclude on September 29th, 2017. The contractor shall adhere to the delivery schedule established in the solicitation. Deliveries will be made to the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, 1900 West Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri, 65807. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 311999. The solicitation is 100% small business, FOB Destination, and is a firm-fixed price contract. The Government will award to the responsible contractor whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government based on price related factors and past performance per FAR 13.106-2(b)(3). The solicitation will be available on or after May 30, 2017, and will be distributed solely through the General Service's Administration Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fbo.gov/ . Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. By submitting an offer, the offeror is self-certifying that they are currently not suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirements that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management, (SAM), database prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is on or about June 15, 2017. The Government reserves the right to make payments using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), or Government purchase card (GPC). Payment will be made using the GPC for awards $3500.00 or less. For awards greater than $3500.00, payment will be made using EFT. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
