This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Williamsburg, South Carolina intends to issue solicitation RFQP03161400020 for the requirements of: QUARTERLY DAIRY. Delivery dates will begin July 1, 2014 through July 15, 2014 deliveries dates are Monday and Thursday for 13 weeks beginning July 1st through September 30, 2014. All deliveries must be delivered by 12:00 noon Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Institution, 8301 Hwy 521, Salters, SC 29590. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be posted to the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is June 06, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. EST. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or government purchase card. All invoices must be submitted via mail to PO Box 220 Salters SC 29590 for payment invoices cannot be sent electronically. Each offer is required per 52.212-3 to complete their representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations (AUG 2005) is included. All potential offerors are advised that this solicitation includes the clause FAR 52.212-4 (June 2010) for commercial items. Offerors should include their Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number in their offers. As of October 2012, all vendors participating shall be registered in the SAM website www.sam.gov.
