The Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Penitentiary Big Sandy located in Inez, Kentucky, is issuing this pre-solicitation notice for the requirements of: QUARTERLY SUBSISTENCE (GENERAL ITEMS). This solicitation is a 100% Small Business set aside. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 311999. Deliveries will begin when the Contracting Officers issues a signed Award Document to the Vendor. Deliveries must be completed within 30 days upon receipt of Award. Deliveries will be made to the United States Penitentiary Big Sandy, 1197 Airport Road, Inez, KY 41224. The Government reserves the right to make single or multiple awards based on Best Value. The Government will award to the responsible quoter(s) whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, is most advantageous to the Government based on best value. Best value will be determined by evaluating each quotation for one or more of the following: PRICE, TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE, AND PAST PERFORMANCE. Awards will be issued with a Purchase Card or through a Purchase Order, SF-1449. A solicitation will be made available on or about May 14, 2019, and will be posted to the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov . All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about this solicitation.
