This agency proposes to issue solicitation SPE4A6-17-R-0389 for a five year long-term strategic contract which includes the following NSN :

CLIN 0001- 5342-01-526-9009, 40A, BLACK HAWK UH-60A, MOUNT, RESILIENT


Only one NSN is targeted for this contract effort. It is anticipated solicitation SPE4A6-17-R-0389 will be IAW Source Control Sikorsky Aircraft Corp, CAGE 78286, Drawing 70361-08015, Rev J dtd, 6/28/2010, part number 70361-08015-102 with approved source SKF Aerospace Sealing Solutions , CAGE 80201, part number B40-80-8071.


The proposed action is intended to be awarded as Unrestricted, Other Than Full & Open Competition. The award effort for this sole source acquisition for this NSN has only been awarded to SFK Aerospace.


The proposed contract will be for a total of a two years of performance to include a base year and one option period. Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This solicitation is proposed to be IAW FAR PART 15 effort. The proposed contract will be an Indefinite Quantity Contract IAW FAR 16.103. The NSN cited above has been identified for this current action. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately.


This will be a sole source awarded contract provided no alternate offers are approved for this item. Best value selection methods will be used only if other sources are approved. The Government will award a single award contract for this action. The solicitation will be posted on Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) on March 28, 2017. No Surge applies. The issue date will be March 28, 2017 and the closing date is April 27, 2017.


The item is identified with Federal Supply Class of 5342 for Hardware & Abrasives.


Clin 0001- 5342-01-526-9009 - EAD QTY of 150 EACH, Contractor First Article Testing applies, and Delivery Schedule of 226 days inclusive of FAT. 166 days ARO for subsequent orders after the approval of FAT or waiver of FAT, Navy Critical Safety Item applies, Higher Level inspection, FOB Destination/Inspection & Acceptance @ Origin
