Intent to go Sole Source for this is a five-year, option-type procurement for a maximum quantity of (33) 407 Torque Reactor Pins, Part Number (P/N) 407TMP, (OEM-Helicopter Work Aids, cage code 7QLE6). These Torque Reactor Pins are required to torque the mast nut on the main rotor head of the MQ-8C Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) at land-based sites and aboard LCS Class Ships.  These aircraft-certified 407 Torque Reactor Pins were designed and developed by Helicopter Work Aids for maintenance on the commercial Bell 407 Helicopter (the MQ-8C is a militarized version of that aircraft). They are used at the Bell Training Academy and have been certified by Bell Helicopter and the NAVAIR Structures Group to be compatible with the MQ-8C main rotor head. The technical data and drawings are proprietary to Helicopter Work Aids.
