400Hz and 60 Hz Installation & Casrep Service
The Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Level of Effort, contract with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302 to provide installation and Casualty Report services in support of the Aegis Cruisers and Destroyers Modernization Program. Power Paragon, Inc. is the sole manufacturer for the MK 84 and associated ORDALT Kits for the AEGIS 400Hz and 60Hz Combat Systems Support Equipment. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or proposals with proof of capability to meet form, fit, and functional requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals with supporting documents received before the closing date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
