SYNOPSIS: Concept Laser 3D Metal Printer QM Powder Sieve Station

This synopsis is issued in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1) and FAR 5.207. This proposed action is for the procurement of Concept Laser QM Powder Sieve Station.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).

This proposed procurement will be a sole source award under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 333511-Industrial Mold Manufacturing, with a size standard of 500 employees. PSC code: 3680- Foundry Machinery, Related Equipment and Supplies.

Requirement:


1. Concept Laser 3D Metal Printer QM Powder Sieve Station.
The proposed source is Concept Laser Inc. 1000 Texan Trail Ste. 150 Grapevine. TX 76051-3780.


This procurement will not be competed because Concept Laser is the only known source able to satisfy the government's following requirements with their 3D Metal Printer QM Powder Sieve Station:
• Sieving of metal powders must be conducted in an inert environment (<2% Oxygen) with built-in safety controls to monitor oxygen levels, Argon Supply Pressure, etc
• Sieve Screen Size - 63 and 100 micron screen kits
• Material - The ability to process reactive and non-reactive metal powders
• Sieve Rate - 100 kg of powder in 1 hour
• Dimensions of sieving station ( W x D x H ) 1039mm x 1013mm x 1583mm
• Must be easily disassembled for loading, cleaning, and repair of consumable components
• Compatible to mount and hold Concept Laser Modular Powder Container for input and output
• Machine directive 2006/42/EC
• EMC Directive 2004/108/EC
• ATEX directive 94/9/EC
• Weight of sieving station - approx. 350 kg
• Supply voltage 3 P/N/PE AC 400V, ±10%, 50Hz-60Hz
• Machine connection 1x CEE plug, 400V 16A 6h, 4m cable
• Inert gas (protective gas) Argon, 5 bar, max. 20 l/min
• Storage and transport temperature -20 - +35°C

The Government will award a contract to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Technical Capability and Price will be used to evaluate all offers.
