3 Day Assault Pack
The 90th Contracting Squadron has issued a sources sought for a 3 Day Assault Back Pack. The requirements for the pack are:
Color: Foliage Green or equivalent color or shade
Storage Capacity: 2,000 cubic inches with ability to carry sustainment gear, extra ammunition, individual first aid kits, and various types of tactical radios for 3 days in the field.
Access: The pack needs to have an access system which when the pack is set or laid down, all contents in the pack are accessible without removal of other items.
Stability: The pack requires a stability component which will minimize the pack from slipping or excessive movement impeding the wearer while the wearer is doing various activities such as walking, running, crawling, or moving in rough terrain.
Ventilation: The pack will be worn over tactical vests and equipment. The pack needs to have a ventilation component which will allow for air to flow between the wearer and the pack.
Support: The pack will be required to hold heavy equipment. The pack needs to supply a support component which will help the wearer with heavy loads while providing for movement through various field activities.
