24 Hour Access to Fitness Annex
The 20th Contracting Squadron intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)) with SmartNet Inc, 211 Edwards Ferry Rd, Leesburg, VA 20176, for the acquisition of the 24 hour Air Force Fitness Access System which will provide unmanned secured access for all authorized military patrons, to include DoD civilians, retirees and dependents. The Air Force Program Executive Office (AFPEO) C31&N CTO has granted an Authority To Operate (ATO) based on the AF C2 Performance Information Technology (PIT) Certifying Authority (CA) for the 24 hour AF Fitness Access System proposed by SmartNet Inc. The AF Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) Purchasing Office (AFNAFPO) solicited and awarded an IDIQ Contract F41999-14-D-0028 to SmartNet Inc. for the 24 hour AF Fitness Access System
This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. There are no set-side restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 561621 with a Small Business Size Standard of $20.5 Million Dollars. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including price, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same or similar product. All capability statements received by the closing date of this publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
