PRESOLICITATION

Requirement: This project includes, the removal of existing and replacement of approximately 2,500 square feet of roof with metal on a warehouse, removal of existing and replacement of approximately 2,000 square feet of roof with composition roof on a modular barracks as base items and removal of existing and replacement of approximately 1,700 square feet with Government furnished composition roof on an office building.

Location:
Warehouse (Buck Creek Engine Bay) - From Lakeview, head South on Highway 395 for approximately 6 miles, turn (East) onto County Road 9 and travel approximately 4 miles. Buck Creek Fire Station will be on your left (North).
Canby Modular Barracks and Office - From Klamath Falls, head south on Highway 139, turn left (East) on Hwy 299, travel 1/4 mile and the buildings will be on your left (North).

Estimated Magnitude (Price Range): less than $100,000

Contract Time: It is estimated the project will start as soon as possible after award and be completed within 45 calendar days.

Set Asides: This procurement is being solicited as a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238160. The related small business size standard is $15.0 million.

Solicitation Info: Solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 13. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered. The anticipated posting of this solicitation is on or about July 10, 2019.

Site Visit/Pre-proposal Conference: No organized site visit is being scheduled as the site is readily accessible.

Bonds: A Bid guarantee is not required to be submitted with the quote. A Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful contractor within 10 days of award if the award amount is over $35,000.00.

Inquiries: Any prospective quoter desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, drawings, specifications, etc., must request it in writing soon enough to allow a reply to reach all prospective bidders before submission of their quotes. Oral explanations or instructions given before the award of a contract will not be binding. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.

Notifications: In accordance with FAR 5.102(d), the government is limiting the availability of the solicitation to electronic medium through this posting to FBO.gov. Notification of any postponements and any amendments to this solicitation will be posted on this website. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to continually view this website for any amendments made to this solicitation. Award notifications will be made to this notice. Early notification will not be made to any quoter except Awarded Contractor.
