2014 ACEEE Summer Study on Energy Efficiency in Buildings
The Department of Energy, Golden Field Office, intends to award a sole source contract, in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, to the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE). This purchase order will be awarded for DOE Building Technologies Office?s (BTO) co-sponsorship to the 2014 ACEEE Summer Study on Energy Efficiency in Buildings conference.
The 2014 ACEEE Summer Study on Energy Efficiency in Buildings conference brings together a diverse group of professionals from around the world to discuss the technological basis for, and practical implementation of, actions to reduce energy use and the climate impacts associated with buildings. The Summer Study enables sharing ideas and engaging in dialog with leading thinkers, visionaries, and luminaries in the field. The following are tasks anticipated under this purchase order:
? Top billing on all conference materials and on ACEEE website with a link to the sponsor homepage ? Top billing (name/logo) in conference program book ? Top billing in pre-conference materials to attendees ? Recognition at podium at opening session ? Top billing on splash screen projected during program breaks ? Top billing on CD proceedings if applicable to conference ? Large display table for sponsor materials if applicable to conference ? 20 waived registrations
The estimate of work under this purchase order is for one month, with a program magnitude of approximately $50,000.
No RFQ will be issued for this requirement. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement, no later than July 4, 2014. However, a determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
