Bidders are required to attend a mandatory Pre-Bid meeting on Tuesday, October 27th, 2009, 9:30a.m - 11:30a.m. Funding Opportunity Description: Subject to the availability of appropriations for fiscal year 2010, the Corporation for National and Community Service (the Corporation) announces the anticipated availability of approximately $21,000,000 to award to new and re-competing AmeriCorps State and National grants. The Corporations mission is to improve lives, strengthen communities, and foster civic engagement through service and volunteering. In the FY 2010 competition, we will give special consideration to projects that address one or a combination of four strategic initiatives that meet critical needs of our nation, achieve national service goals,
and address community problems.
