2009 On Board Passenger Transit Survey

The 2009 Onboard Transit Passenger Survey will gather origin/destination, trip
behavior, and demographic data on all fixed bus and rail routes in San Diego County. A
consultant will be hired to collect and validate the data. SANDAG has historically
conducted onboard passenger surveys every five to six years. This survey comes shortly
after both MTS and NCTD have made significant changes to their transit systems.
