2009 Emergency Shelter Grant RFR
Through the distribution of federal Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG) funds pursuant to this RFR, the Commonwealth seeks to fill the most critical gaps in services and provide funding for needed shelter beds where no other funding sources exist. The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) in collaboration with DTA is issuing this RFR. The Housing and Homeless Services funds and staff formerly within DTA have transitioned from DTA to DHCD effective July 1, 2009 in compliance with legislative requirements. As a result, while the World Trade Organization Notice was published on Comm-PASS by DTA, the RFR is being issued by DHCD. DHCD will conduct the RFR selection process, announce awards, execute contracts, administer funds, and monitor contractor performance.
