2008 Request for Proposal for Summer Youth Work Experience
I am seeking entry-level worksite placements for subsidized work experience youth in our program. The purpose of a subsidized work experience is to develop employment skills for youth that have NOT had a job before or are upgrading skills. The Summer Youth Work Experience program allows youth to gain basic employment skills such as how to show up on time for a job, take direction from a supervisor, fill out a time sheet, dress appropriately for work, and learn basic office skills, or completing tasks under the direction of a supervisor and other duties required at the worksite. Each placement varies by worksite and job duties. Your worksite placement will give youth in our program the ability to develop skills that allow them to be more marketable in their quest for employment
