All Interested Parties:

The Bureau of Prisons, Federal Detention Center, Honolulu, Hawaii, is soliciting quotations under Request for Quote # 15BH0N20Q00000001 for 1st Quarter FY2020 Subsistence. This cover letter is intended to provide general information regarding the submission of your quote.


Please read the enclosed Request for Quotation carefully and ensure that all information requested is included in your quote. Specifically, the quantity and pricing we request must match quantity and pricing you are bidding to include case count, and weight. Failure to provide accurate information may exclude you from solicitation. Evaluators will neither make assumptions, nor draw inferences regarding missing or incomplete data. All potential offerors are advised that this solicitation includes the clause at FAR 52.212-4, for Commercial Items, Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This clause requires all contractors doing business with the Federal Government after September 30, 2003, to be registered in the SAM database. Please include your Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number with your offer. If you have not completed your representations and certifications via the On-line Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) you may complete the enclosed Provision 52.212-3.


Faxed quotations will not be accepted. Quotes shall be submitted in writing via e-mail to nfcruz@bop.gov (preferred) or mailed to the address below. Offerors are responsible for ensuring their quote has been received by the date and time set in order to be considered for award. Please submit quotations no later than 10:00 a.m. HST, September 18, 2019, to the following address:

Delivery is to be completed within thirty (30) days of placed order. Delivery can be made Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., excluding holidays. Items not delivered within the required time frame may be subject to cancelation and any/all shipping and restocking fees will be the responsibility of the vendor. Anticipated delivery date for items will be October 1, 2019.
