Scope of Work for Legal Services of Local Counsel
Hong Kong, SAR
THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE (DOS), Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) is seeking high quality international legal firms experienced in complex real estate transactions the purchase and sale of residential property for U.S. Consulate General staff housing located in Hong Kong, SAR, People’s Republic of China. The ideal firm will have offices in the United State and in Hong Kong.
Continuing a legacy of outstanding diplomatic properties, OBO seeks to commission a top legal firm to assist in transactions that create the greatest value for the U.S. government.
The following services are required by the United States Government (USG) in relation to the purchase and sale of real properties in Hong Kong, SAR:
DESCRIPTION
The USG is seeking legal services in connection with:
The purchase of residential properties, up to twenty (24) housing units purchased individually or in bulk, or the combination of both approaches in Hong Kong;
The sale or sale-leaseback of one (1) high-value, multi-unit residential property in Hong Kong; and
The sale of one (1) residential apartment unit in Hong Kong.
The ideal firm will have offices in the United States and in Hong Kong.
