Request for Proposal: #2 Fuel Oil – FDA LABS-JAMAICA-QUEENS, NY
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation Number 17-0065 is being issued as a Request for Proposal in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Acquisition Circular 2005-93 effective December 16, 2016. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Total Small Business Set Aside
This solicitation is a 100% percent small business set aside. The associated NAICS is 454310 Fuel Dealers and the applicable SBA Small Business Size Standard is 50 employees. Proposals will only be considered from vendors who are a Small Business in accordance with NAICS 454310 and the applicable size standard of no more than 50 employees. Requirement
Location
1. FDA Laboratory Facility located at 158-15 Liberty Ave., Jamaica, NY 11433-1034. - The requirement is for 3,100 gallons of #2 Fuel Oil. Delivery Date is Friday, June 2, 2017.
Delivery day/time to be confirmed at time of award.
2. Quotes must be submitted on company letter head signed by an authorized representative. Please include the firm’s DUNS number on the quote.
Evaluation Criteria
The potential award will be made to the vendor that offers the lowest overall price. Proposed prices must be valid for 7 days after the due date of the proposals.
The deadline for quotes is Tuesday, May 30, 2017 by 10:00am. EST.
