The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center, Fort Worth, Texas, intends to issue solicitations 15B50918Q00000008 - Certified/Kosher Food Requirements, 15B50918Q00000009 - Meat Requirements, and 15B50918Q00000010 - General Food Requirements, for the 4th Quarter of FY-2018. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, and FOB Destination.


The solicitation will be available on Friday, May 25, 2018 and will be solely through the Government Point of Entry, which is www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through this website. This website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of this solicitation. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this website to ensure you have the most-up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. The anticipated receipt of quotes is on
Friday, June 8, 2018. The anticipated estimated date of award is Monday, June 18 2018.


The Government reserves the right to make a single or multiple awards. The Government will award to a responsible quoter(s), whose offer, conforming to the solicitation requirements that are considered to be most advantageous to the Government. ANY CHANGES MADE TO A LINE ITEM DESCRIPTION MAY CAUSE THE QUOTE TO BE DISQUALIFIED.


All responsible small business sources are encouraged to submit a quote, which will be considered for an award. Faith Based and Community Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts which they are eligible. All interested parties doing business with the Federal Government must register in the System Award Management (SAM) database prior to any contract awards. The website for registration is www.sam.gov.


Delivery dates are posted within this solicitation. Deliveries will be made to the following address:

All items are to be delivered July 2, 2018 through July 13, 2018 unless other delivery arrangements have been arranged with the Food Service Administrator or his/her designee. Deliveries can be made Monday through Friday between 7:30 am - 10:30 am and 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. No deliveries will be taken on Federal Holidays. Vendors who fail to meet delivery schedules or requirements are subject to have awards/contracts cancelled and risk removal from future solicitations for bids.
