Synopsis Description
(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation (see attached RFQ); the Government will conduct a comparative evaluation on the quotes received to determine which contractor/vendor provides the best value to the Government in terms of technical capability, project management and staffing, performance risk and past performance, while also, providing a competitive price.
(ii) Solicitation number VA261-15-Q-0593 is assigned as the request for quote (RFQ).
(iii) This acquisition is a total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set aside. The NAICS code is 561210 and the size standard is $15.0 million.
(iv) The contract line items are listed in the attached price schedule.
(v) The contractor shall provide 12kV Short Circuit Coordination Study in accordance with the attached statement of work.
(vi) Period of performance: All work shall be complete within 60-days after issuance of the purchase order or contract.
(vii) The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
(viii) The provision 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items, Addendum applies to this acquisition.
(ix) The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
