035 Lease or Rental of Service and Trade Equipment
NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville, Florida intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) on or about 10 February 2018. The solicitation will be issued utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR 13.5) on a 100% small business set-aside.
The base period of performance commencing on 1 April 2018 will be for 12 months with four (4) one-year options periods including 52.217-8. The FSC Code is W035. The NAICS Code is 532210, with a size standard of $38.5M.
The purpose of this acquisition is to provide Washers and dryers rental and maintenance. This requirement is to lease all new washers and dryers. The lease agreement shall include maintenance, repair, labor, supervision, material, replacement parts, supplies, and equipment, as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
The Contractor shall be responsible to complete all necessary measurements to ensure equipment will fit properly into laundry areas. Machines (washers) shall be new, commercial, multi-housing electric (120 Volt), fully automatic clothes washers with a minimum capacity of fourteen (14) pounds. The washers shall be capable of washing, rinsing, and spin drying, and shutting off automatically when the door is opened during the spin cycle. Washers shall have a temperature selector and be UL approved. Machines (dryers) shall be new dryers, electric (3 wire nominal 120/240 volts, 60 cycle A.C, commercial motor and cabinet construction, minimum 5.75 cubic foot drum capacity, 3 selections for drying temperature, and a minimum of 60 minutes of timed drying.
Dryer shall have overload protection, push button starting switch, a door switch to stop tumbling and heat when door is open, heating elements which shut off when motor stops, removable lint screen and a setting for permanent press fabrics, automatic regular, and delicate. Dryers shall be UL approved.
The solicitation will be available on or about 10 February 2018 for download on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) Website at https://www.neco.nayy.mil and FEDBIZOPS Website at: https://www.fbo.gov. The RFQ will include instructions for preparation of quotes, the performance work statement, and evaluation criteria. It is the responsibility of interested parties to register with NECO and or FEDBIZOPS to download the synopsis, solicitation and subsequent amendments and all attachments.
Offerors are encouraged to review the referenced websites frequently for updates. No paper copies of the RFQ, attachments or amendments will be provided
