The County is requesting information regarding a web content management system.
The goals for the County’s enterprise web content management system are to:
 Serve as the central web platform for the County departments
 Permit non-technical County staff to easily create, access and modify content
 Provide a stable system that will have the capability to integrate business functions within the
County
 Reduce operating expenses and web development costs
Infrastructure: The County currently uses Oracle as its primary database, but also supports Microsoft
SQL Server. The County supports Windows 2003 Server SP2, or RedHat Linux 5.x servers, preferring
virtual servers on VMware.
The system should be interoperable with Autonomy (Worksite, Teleforms, iManage/Liquid Office), the
County’s Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform.
