Request for Proposals (RFP) for Energy Codes
The Authority is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations, which have demonstrated experience in providing one or more of the following energy code related activities: commercial and residential energy code training; commercial and residential compliance evaluations; and a local government pilot project. The organization(s) selected will provide commercial and residential energy code and Duct and Envelope Tightness Verifier training to construction industry stakeholders, including, but not limited to, architects, engineers, contractors, trades, material suppliers and inspectors. The selected organization(s) will also provide evaluations of commercial and residential buildings for compliance with the Georgia State Energy Code for Buildings. Finally, the selected organizations(s) will work with a local government building department to evaluate its processes and procedures to determine possible ways of incorporating effective energy code enforcement. Organizations may apply to provide one or more of the above referenced services.
