Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Redesign of the Town’s Website
The Town is seeking proposals for the redesign of the Town’s
website. The Town is seeking to provide an improved visitor experience for website visitors through clean
presentation and clear and intuitive navigation. The website shall also be easily
maintained and managed by the Town’s existing non-technical staff. Like all
governments, the Town provides information that needs to be both easily accessible and
timely. The website shall be in support of these goals.
The long-term objective for the website is to be a true e-government service, replicating
on the Web all business that is currently conducted at Town Hall. The Town is not
prepared at this time to provide all services online. However, the architecture of the
redesigned website shall be extensible and modular allowing for the addition of
functionality over time.
